Fortieth death anniversary of the Founder, Venerable Bishop Stephen Ferrando was celebrated on 20 June in all the MSMHC Centres. In Hatigaon, the day was made meaningful with organised prayer in the morning and a solemn liturgical celebration in the evening by Most Rev. Thomas Menamparampil, the Archbishop Emeritus of Guwahati. In his homily, Archbishop spoke of Venerable Ferrando and his missionary passion. He invited the community to pray to him for a double share of his spirit to carry on the mission he has entrusted to the Congregation.

On the same day the Ferrando Institute of Spirituality had the graduation ceremony for the outgoing students.
