Ferrando Convent Welcomes New Member

The community of Ferrando Convent Hawaii welcomed Sr. Lucinda Salboro. The community organized a get-together of friends and benefactors for a thanksgiving Mass for Sr. Luci on June 24, 2015 at the Convent. Fr. Arnold Ortiz, the Pastor of St. Elizabeth Church was the main celebrant of the Holy Mass. Sr. Luci's Mom Carmen and her sister Laureen from the Big Island came to join in the celebration. The celebration offered a pleasant surprise for Sr. Luci.

Hawaiian Mission

All who gathered for the thanksgiving Holy Mass were inspired by the courage and determination of Sr. Luci who has a unique story of her vocation.  Everyone prayed for God's blessings upon her and for her new mission in life as a missionary.

Lucinda Salboro hails from Hilo. She joined the Congregation in January 2012 and made her first profession at Mary Immaculate, Shillong on 8 December, 2014.
